The First And Foremost Beginning
All Seekers and Healers begin here, for they ask, seek and quest for the touch and taste of the Light.
The soul’s curiosity beings with the questions – Where Am I? Who Am I? These two questions are the start of the seeker’s quest.
The first answer to Where Am I? is – in material nature, attached to illusion and in need of our desires to be fulfilled.
The first answer to Who Am I? is – this body and its senses, wrapped-up in perceptions of pain and pleasure.
It is the second, third, fourth, firth and more answers that we collect that form the bridge out of illusions and into cosmic-reality. Yes, we are born into religious traditions but we seek out a spiritual path. We seek the truth, the knowledge, the wisdom, the light – the Guru. You must have heard the saying ‘When the student is ready, the Guru appears.’ Though this has great merit and aligns with the Like-Attracts-Like principle, there is a deeper seeking that the student must activate within their heart.
Seek You Must & Unlock The Curiosity
It begins with the call of the soul to re-connect with the Source. It begins with the seeds of curiosity (not doubt). With a need to understand, unravel and seek the truths of existence. Of cause and effect. Of the Why? not just the How? It is in this consciousness that the student who seeks becomes bonafide and authentic.
The process of being bonafide and authentic begins through the process of questions. Where the seeker may go to many sources for answers. At times they may even get stuck in asking the same question again-and-again. However, even in that mode of being-stuck there are aspects of the self being peeled and an unrelenting need to seek the light. This is the call of soul, the body and the mind fuelled by the heart. The illumination when it arrives, always comes from the authentic teacher in an authentic lineage. This is when the Guru appears as a soothing balm.
There are 3 true signs of the Guru. The first is that they are holding knowledge as a caretaker and not a gatekeeper. The second is that they are always willing to remove the doubts, the illusions and the darkness with unconditional love and wisdom. The third is that their mission is to empower the student, Ultimately wherever the Guru sets their eyes the Light and Compassion flows.
The magic of the moment is experienced in the act of asking questions. Seeking the answers through your curious nature. Stay connected to the eyes of the Guru and the words of the Guru – honouring the Guru’s teachings and empowerments shared. Do your daily healing spiritual practice and allow the transformation to be unlocked. And with curiosity seek out all the healing opportunities.
