“One of the main reasons why there is so much anguish and despair in our world is because of the fact that we are so ignorant of our own impermanence.

We all think that we are all here for ever. There has been so much turmoil and tragedy, so many people have died, there is unrest and suffering. Violence and war making countries change their attitude of compassion. Yet, we all keep asking ourselves, when is everything going to change for the better?

We so often discover that everything around us changes, as nothing in this world is forever. Everything is always in a flux of change. Misinformation, misconceptions, ideas and assumptions are part of the foundation that we construct our life upon. It is the same cycle and it is supremely different and at times difficult to keep to the path.

Hence today we must reflect on how much time we have left to spend on the journey ahead and how much to make our lives easier with the people around us.

We just have to heal, one day at a time.
