“The little happiness which man seems to enjoy occasionally in the midst of difficulties is like the happiness of one who has fallen into a deep well, but has, by some stroke of light and fortune, caught hold of some reeds.

While hanging thus he sees an alligator in the well and a rat gnawing the reeds. The fear of the reeds giving way, and his fall into the alligator ‘s mouth grows more and more , at the same time he finds within the reach of his tongue , honey drops , trickling from a honeycomb on a tree on the brim of the well and stretches his tongue and licks the honey. Ah! How happy are we in the jaws of death.

All the miseries of all souls disappear, like mist at sunrise when Atmagyaan ( self knowledge ) dawns by the grace of God through the teachings of a Truth knowing Master.
