We are happy when we serve others and even ourself. This act of service is always appreciated and with devotional service we are liberated from this cycle of birth/ death/ old age / disease. Constantly changing and evolving yet always constructing new habits and pathways to liberate ourself, we are constantly learning new spiritual truths if we stay vigilant. If everything is impermanent then we must look at everything as empty. Which means lacking in any lasting, stable form as we have to see lasting impressions on others as a quality of life and more life.
