“The first six chapters of the Bhagavad Gita ( The song of God) deals with Karma , ( the right action that we have to perform) the next six chapters with Bhakti ( devotion)  and the  last six chapters with Gyaan (knowledge)  . This arrangement of the three subjects — Karma, Bhakti, and Gyaan , indicates the order which should be followed for spiritual advancement. Karma comes first. We cannot skip this and make a short trip to Bhakti or Gyaan. Thus in order to attain knowledge , we must have devotion, in order to have devotion we must act .

First action, then devotion and then knowledge will be bestowed.
